Erika - Observation point

The viewpoint Erika is located on top of the dune of the same name on the Zuiderhoofdweg in Westkapelle. It is a lovely place to pause for a moment during a walk or cycle ride along the coast.

What can you expect at viewpoint Erika?

• Beautiful views: From the dune, you look out over the North Sea, the beach of Westkapelle, the Westkapelle sea dyke, the Kreek and the dunes. In clear weather, you can really see how beautifully sea, beach and land come together here.
• Orientation disc: At the viewpoint, there is a natural stone orientation disc with compass directions and arrows pointing to surrounding places. Nice to have a look at while enjoying the panorama and getting your bearings.
• Wind in your face: On Erika, you experience the true coastal atmosphere of Westkapelle: the open sea, the wide beach, the wind and the sense of space.
• A pleasant stop on a walk: Viewpoint Erika is a nice stop for walkers, cyclists and beach visitors. Parking is available at the foot of the dunes.
